Nestled in the scenic hills of Jamestown, Tennessee, Highland Manor Winery proudly holds the distinction of being Tennessee’s oldest winery. For over 40 years, Highland Manor has remained dedicated to producing fine, handcrafted wines that reflect the unique character and rich agricultural heritage of the region.
Founded with a passion for winemaking and a commitment to excellence, Highland Manor continues to thrive under the ownership of Frederick and Rhonda Moody, who took the reins from Frederick’s aunt and uncle, Gertie and Butch Campbell. The Campbells operated the winery for 17 years and were deeply invested in ensuring that the family tradition continued. Their wish was fulfilled when Frederick and Rhonda stepped in to carry on the legacy of this pioneering Jamestown winery.
At Highland Manor Winery, tradition and innovation go hand in hand. While rooted in classic Tennessee winemaking techniques, the winery also utilizes modern technology, including state-of-the-art stainless steel equipment, to enhance quality and consistency. This thoughtful balance allows the team to produce wines that are both expressive and refined, appealing to a wide range of palates.
From crisp whites and fruit-forward blends to robust reds and dessert wines, Highland Manor offers a selection that reflects the depth and diversity of Tennessee-grown wines. Visitors to the winery can enjoy tastings in a welcoming setting that combines rustic charm with southern hospitality, making it a perfect stop along the Tennessee wine trail.
