Located just north of Nashville, Long Hollow Gardens & Vineyards is a second-generation family-owned Tennessee winery with more than 50 years of agricultural tradition. What began as a family nursery has grown into a thriving Middle Tennessee vineyard where sustainability, community, and craftsmanship come together to create an unforgettable wine experience.
Guided by a simple philosophy—that people and plants thrive with natural light, fresh air, and a little encouragement—Long Hollow has become a beloved local destination for wine lovers, gardeners, and families alike. The 35-acre property features more than 15 acres of restored native wildflower meadows, pollinator fields, and working vineyards, creating a scenic setting for tastings, events, and seasonal outings.
All of Long Hollow’s wines are 100% estate-grown, cultivated on-site with a deep commitment to sustainable agriculture. The vineyards are home to Chambourcin and Vidal Blanc grapes, producing four distinctive wines: two reds, a sparkling white, and a sparkling red—all of which have earned international wine awards for their quality and character. The winery’s eco-conscious practices include the use of a flock of Katadin sheep for weed control, eliminating the need for glyphosate and other harmful chemicals common in modern farming.
Visitors are invited to enjoy the vineyard through tasting experiences that often include live music, special events, and family-friendly activities. Reservations are highly recommended for tastings, as seating fills quickly. For those wanting to enjoy Long Hollow wines from home, porch pickup is also available by appointment through the winery’s website.
From its award-winning Tennessee wines to its legacy of land stewardship and hospitality, Long Hollow Gardens & Vineyards is more than a winery—it’s a place where growth is nurtured and shared. Come visit and experience the harmony of people, plants, and wine, cultivated over two generations of family care.
