3rd Annual Century Farm Winery Chili Cook-Off: Super Bowl Edition

Tastings: $5 per person (this includes a sample of each available chili)
Team Registration:$40 per team
We’re bringing together two game-day essentials—chili and wine—for a friendly showdown worthy of the Big Game. Local chili masters (a.k.a. bold home cooks) will compete for bragging rights, prizes and your vote as you taste your way through a lineup of unique chili creations. Throw on your NFL jersey, and come sip handcrafted wines, sample every “bowl contender,” and help decide who takes home MVP honors.
Chili Cookoff Rules
CALL THE WINERY TO REGISTER YOUR TEAM!
- Entry Fee: $40 per team
- Teams may consist of 2–4 people
- Each entry must provide a minimum of 2 gallons of chili
- Tomato based chili ONLY
- Vegan chili allowed
- Chili MUST be prepared and cooked on-site
- You may do basic prep items beforehand (such as dicing vegetables, cubing meat, etc)
- All chili must be held at safe serving temperatures
- Electricity is limited; teams should plan accordingly (crockpots or burners recommended)
- Garnishes such as cheese, onions, crackers, or sour cream are permitted
- Get in the SPIRIT!! Wear your favorite team jersey, decorate your table with some superbowl flare
Teams may arrive for set-up at 11:00am. Cooking will begin when the whistle blows at 12:00pm…early starters will be DQ’d. The whistle will blow promptly at 4pm to signal the end of the cooking period…Judging and public tasting will begin at this time.
