Nestled at the base of scenic Currahee Mountain, our family-owned Tennessee winery began as a dream on a farm once known for its thriving apple orchard. In 2008, Marvin Dunson envisioned transforming the land into a vineyard that would produce exceptional, locally made wines. By 2009, the first grapevines were planted, laying the foundation for what would become a celebrated wine destination in Tennessee. Marvin’s daughter, Ashley, played a key role in launching the winery, turning a family legacy into a flourishing wine business.

Our first creation, Sweet Cheryl, is a sweet red muscadine wine crafted in memory of Marvin’s wife, who passed away from cancer before the vineyards came to life. It remains one of our most beloved wines and a symbol of the passion behind everything we do. Following Sweet Cheryl, we introduced three more muscadine wines: 3 Mile White, Golden Harvest, and Currahee Rosé, each showcasing the unique flavor profile of Southern-grown muscadine grapes.

Today, our Tennessee winery produces over 17 handcrafted wines, offering something for every palate—from sweet to semi-dry to dry varietals. Several of our wines have earned prestigious awards at the INDY International Wine Competition, including Ole Blue, Blanc du Bois, and 3 Mile White. Our offerings also include a dry red blend, the smooth Currahee Red, and refreshing wine slushies, perfect for warm days in the South.

Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or exploring Tennessee wine trails for the first time, our vineyard invites you to enjoy scenic views, southern hospitality, and distinctive wines made right here in Tennessee. Visit our winery, taste our award-winning wines, and become part of the story that started with family and grew into a local tradition.
