Established in November 1984, Tennessee Valley Winery is proud to be one of the oldest continuously operating wineries in East Tennessee. Nestled in the scenic foothills of Loudon County, just a short drive from Knoxville, our winery has become a staple on the Tennessee Wine Trail and a must-visit destination for wine lovers exploring the state’s rich wine heritage.

Producing approximately 80,000 bottles of wine annually, Tennessee Valley Winery offers an impressive selection of over twenty handcrafted wines. Our winemaking philosophy combines traditional methods with a passion for quality, resulting in a diverse portfolio that includes dry reds like Cabernet Sauvignon, crisp whites such as Chardonnay, and an array of semi-sweet, sweet, and fruit-forward options. Whether you’re a fan of bold reds, light blushes, or refreshing fruit wines, we have something to delight every palate.

Our fruit wines—including favorites like blackberry, peach, cherry, and strawberry—are made with 100% real fruit and never include artificial flavors or concentrates. We also produce award-winning wines using native Tennessee grapes like Concord and Muscadine, as well as French hybrid varieties, celebrating the region’s unique agricultural bounty.

Guests are invited to relax in our warm and welcoming tasting room or enjoy a bottle outdoors in our scenic picnic area, which offers beautiful views of the Tennessee countryside. We provide curated snack options that pair perfectly with our wines, making for a memorable wine tasting experience in East Tennessee.

Whether you’re a local enthusiast or just passing through, we invite you to stop by, sample our wines, and experience genuine Tennessee hospitality.

Plan your visit to Tennessee Valley Winery today and discover why we’re a proud part of the Tennessee Farm Winegrowers Alliance and a beloved stop on the Tennessee Wine Trail.
