Currahee Mountain has witnessed it all. from the prehistoric Mound Builders to the Cherokee, to the 506th Airborne Infantry Regiment running “3 miles up, 3 miles down” – the famous Band of Brothers, Now Ol’ Currahee watches over our sun-kissed vineyards at its feet.

In 2008 Marvin Dunson began to think about using the family farm to produce wines. The family farm, at the base of beautiful Currahee Mountain, had once been an apple orchard owned by Marvin’s parents. By 2009 planting had begun that would ultimately lead to award winning wines.

Our award winning, hand-crafted wines here at Currahee Winery are the perfect accompaniment to any occasion.
