Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in the area known as “the peaceful side of the Smokies”, Townsend, TN serves as the perfect setting for truly inspired winemaking. We chose the name Cades Cove Cellars because we are not only passionate about the award-winning wines we create, but because we are also very passionate about the beautiful area in which we work, live, and play.

The Winemaking Team at Cades Cove Cellars has been working together for over 12 years.  Fresh fruit and trusted recipes are at the heart of our process.  A strong belief in making wine the true and honest way allows us to make a consistent quality product time and time again.

Cades Cove Cellars has many different things to offer those who come to visit the winery. Free tastings of the wines are offered every day, and there is no need to make a reservation. There is a viewing area for visitors to observe the laboratory and tank room, as well as see the bottling line in operation. The gift shop has a wide selection of wine accessories, gifts, and crafts made by local artisans.
