$13 hourly full time Internship
Hey Everyone! Know we are all looking for help but thought this was unique enough to share in case you know someone interested. Pay is $13 per hour August-November We are looking for a fall harvest intern to join us and learn about the craftsmanship of winemaking. During your internship, you will: Engage in various aspects of viticulture and enology including compliance, production, and product development Participate in and monitor the pressing, filtering, and fermentation processes under supervision Assist with checking machinery to ensure that it is running smoothly and reporting any problems Maintain cleanliness of all production areas and equipment Bottle and label products Learn how to blend and test product to ensure that quality control standards and targets for production are met Calculate proof gallons, gains/loses, and other measurements precisely QUALIFICATIONS Must be 21 years of age or older and have your own transportation. Food science or agriculture majors preferred *Those who are students or recent graduates may apply through the Southern Hospitality Internship Program before August and qualify for student housing if needed.
