Our vision for Pickers Creek Winery was to combine elements of things that make life more enjoyable – great wine, music and art. Pickers Creek Winery is a family-owned winery, named “Pickers Creek” to honor Phil’s father, Mack George, a world-class guitar “picker” as well as the other musicians in the family.
We have been in business for over 4 years. We currently have 11 wines available for tasting, with music-related names such as “Three Dog White”, “Harmony” and “Inna-Gadda-Da-Vino.” We offer free tastings any time during our open hours without an appointment.
We have free live music every Saturday night from 6-9 pm during our summer hours (April through October).
We have a small art gallery and gift shop showcasing local artists and offering their art for sale, as well as lots of fun wine-related gifts and many local items including handmade jewelry, local food products, pottery, and other unique items.
We are very family friendly. Bring the kids and watch them play while sitting on our wraparound porch and sampling some wine. We encourage bringing picnics to enjoy while listening to the music and sipping our wines.
“Bella”, our famous winery dog, will greet you upon your arrival. Come on in and taste our fabulous wines and then, “sit a spell” under the trees or out by the bonfire on a cool evening and listen to the music or take a stroll through the vineyard and down the old railroad bed. Wine, Music, Art – the best life has to offer.
