Tennessee Farm & Winegrowers Alliance announces the hiring of new Executive Director.

(Nashville, TN, April 23, 2018) – The Tennessee Farm & Winegrowers Alliance (TFWA), is pleased to announce Adam C. Acampora as their new Executive Director. Mr. Acampora was selected from among over 230 applicants by a group led by Dr. Tim Cross, Chancellor for the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture. Acampora comes to this position from Natchez Hills Vineyard, where he has spent the past three years managing sales, marketing, and brand development for a Tennessee Wine producer. He was responsible for the operations and growth that helped Natchez Hills double their production and revenue each year since 2015. Increasing their consumer footprint opening two physical locations and taking the brand across the state through wholesale channels.

Prior to his role at Natchez Hills Vineyard, Acampora has worked in the marketing world for some other notable Tennessee brands such as Jack Daniel’s and Gibson Guitar. He has been responsible for defining and evangelizing brands across the globe utilizing grassroots techniques that have turned consumers into loyal fans. Born in New York, Acampora was raised in Virginia where he attended Christopher Newport University majoring in Philosophy. He has called Tennessee home since 2006 and resides in Nashville with his wife, Heidi.

“I am excited to face the challenges that lie ahead,” Acampora says. “There is a lot of potential and passion in the Tennessee Wine industry and I believe that within in a few years we will be receiving the same notoriety that Texas and Missouri are both receiving today.”

With the help of the Tennessee Department of Agriculture and the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture we are excited to have someone as qualified as Mr. Acampora on our team,” said Brian Hamm, President of the TFWA.
